Green Ibérica was founded in 1985 by the Romeu
Group for the representation in Spain of Evergreen, at
that time and as from 1978 represented by Romeu y Cia
S.A., company belonging to the mentioned Romeu Group.
Green Ibérica started with offices in Barcelona
and Valencia, opening during the following years its own
offices in Bilbao, Madrid, Alicante,
Vigo, Canary Islands and Málaga.
Later on, Evergreen appointed agents in Portugal, Tunis
and Algier
to our company where offices in Lisbon, Porto, Tunis,
Alger and Oran
were opened.
Nowadays, Green Ibérica has an overall staff
of around 150 people orientated towards the service
to their customers needs.
Therefore, the Romeu Group filosofy has been transmitted
to Green Ibérica in the sense of sparing no efforts
headed to the quality of their duty in order to increase
the level of all those who are part of the transport
chain.
In February 1996, Green Iberica Barcelona was honoured
with the certification ISO 9002 which has been upgraded
to the new UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2003.
All remaining offices, currently, are going through the
adaptation process.
